S K I N is an exploration of culture, race, bodies and identity through dance, theatre, music and film, performed and produced by a team of multi-disciplinary Malaysian artists. The film is a poetic documentary by Luvenia Kalia and Theyvapaalan S Jayaratnam in collaboration with Thinakkaaran Thamilchelvam , Quin Ooi , Santosh Logandran funded by The Cultural Economy Development Agency Malaysia, CENDANA .

S K I N is a reflection of our shell.
We examine the multiplicities of our bodies, its performative practices, and its relationship with femininity
Its weight, harvested from displacement, migration and merging of cultures.
We live the contradictions.
A binary planted on our reality.
We search for fluidity by peeling off the layers of our skin.
Through the lens of 5 individuals, we actively alter the gaze of our bodies in space.
